Author Note: Yesterday was Sunday and I take a day off. So, today is still counts as a day five.

Well, good day everyone. I want to continue this challenge of mine. Now, let's choose the genre. And, for today challenge is ......... HORROR/SUSPENSE (For information: this is my first time to write this genre. This will become a real challenge to me)

And, without further ago, here is the complete prompt:
Location: The Story is tied to an event at a blood bank
Complication: Elements from a character's recurring nightmare begin to materialize
Character: A firefighter responding to a distressed call
Detail/event: an old radio transmitting screaming or nonhuman noises

Title: It's not Just a Dream

The night is like a usual night—silent, dark, a little bit creepy, and cold—however, nobody know something will happen tonight. A shadow will come to the little town and make the citizens enveloped in terror. A terror that come to takes revenge. A revenge for what their ancestor did to ‘her’ in thousands years ago.  In one of the house, lived a young man in his early twenty alone. He is an orphan who saves from the burning orphanage that happened ten years ago. He saved by one of firefighters and in that time, he decide to become like his hero. His parents already passed away when he was five years old. Now, he is already at his third year in university with a part-time as firefighter.
“You can’t run or nor hide from me! I will get you. I will find you wherever you go.”
James wakes up with sweat and scared face. “What is that? I never have that dream after ten years. Why those dreams happen again?” He is steadying his breath and wipes his sweat. He walks slowly to the windows and open his apartment windows. He looks to the sky. “Who is that women? Why she always look rage and full of hatred? Those cold eyes, high-pitched voice, and the sentence that feel of revenge. Have I ever did something wrong?” James silent for a moment before he sighs and goes back to sleep. To have a similar dream and similar cold stares in his dream.
A several weeks continue like that. He always dreams a similar thing every night and always wakes up in a shudder feeling.  The difference is, every day, the dream become clearer and scarier. The scariest part is whatever happen in his dream also happens in his real life. He feels scared and lost. Those are affects his school, work, and social-life. His eyes become black, he becomes thinner, and he can’t concentrate in his life. It was because he already can’t separate what is a dream and what is reality. He just hopes that all of those dreams stop and his life back to normal.
Today, like usual, James wake up with tired eyes and body. All of his energy lost like he is running for an hundred kilometers. He closes his eyes and remembers about his dream. That night, the woman said something really scary.
“I will take what mine today. Your life will end and you will join me in this place forever.”
When James remember that words, he doesn’t realize the room become colder and a shadow is coming to him. He realizes that sign too late. He opens his eyes and freezing.  In front of him, a woman floating and smirks to him.
“YOU ARE MINE.” The woman said with creepy voice and a howl laugh.
James screams in silent—his voice can’t out—and his breathing become really hard. His eyes become heavy and he lost his consciousness.
The last thing he remembers is a sinister and horrific laughter.

~^*^*^*^*^*^*^*~

It is my first horror story. What did you think? I feel disappointed of this and I will try hard to do the best in my next horror story.

Sit and write. The easiest and the hardest task to do.
As a writer, you must be know really well that feeling.

WOO-HOO...I REALLY DID THIS CHALLENGE FOR FIVE DAYS
