[Art] WetCanvas Website Review

My friend introduced me this website (wetcanvas) two years ago. She said that this site help her to improve and learn about art, especially painting. I feel interested with this site but until now I still don't have a time to try the site.

I already registered and read about the rule today. So, here is my review about the site based on my friend experience, review from the other people, and my thought about this site.

Outlook of the Website:

Description:

This site is a forum website for artist (all of kind artist) to share information, thoughts, strategies, or opinions about their project, tips and trick, and any kind of art. 

The good review:

• I thought this is good for the newbie to know and learn about art. They have a discussion forum and also the tutorial for newbie or beginner to improve their skill. At that site, we can post our art and the improvement to all of the member. An active member will give tips, trick, and lesson learned to us.
• This is a good place if you want an information about new project, news, skill, or new technique for art. You can read, learn, and practice the lesson for your advantage.
• This site also hold an event for an active member. It will give you opportunity to show your technique, skill, and capability.

The not so good review:

• This site is just like another forum for the appearance. It is too plain and not-creative, even if the artist are the one that make and develop the site. I hope the site can give some unique touch or characteristic that give the reader a show this is an art forum.
• The site is too strict. The members aren't so easily to post a link or site about anything.

Conclusion:

This is good place to learn and know information about art. You can have many information, technique, tutorial, lesson, tips & trick, and many discussion about art that valuable for your improvement. The thing you must do is become an active member, greet another member, make a new threat post, and follow the rule. I think this is good place to have a connection and lesson for your career as an artist. Or, maybe for you who want learn about art as new hobby or interested with art. This is a good site to give you a valuable stuff and give you insight about what you need and you must do if you love art and want to make an art.

What did you think about this hot topic?

Honestly, I think this is something interesting topic. I find this amusing that we can accept this difference in a good way.

I really thought that every picture, portrait, figure make a different perspective for everyone.

You know an optical illusion? Try this:

a. What did you see? A young beautiful lady or an old lady?

b.Or this? Duck or rabbit?

c. How about this picture? Two standing horses or a portrait of young woman?

d.Did you see the transformation?

e. Three brick or four brick?

And many more. You can find all of this interesting picture if you search or google. You can find out that our eyes can be so easily deceived and make us see a different perspective in a different angle.

What I want to say is there is no right or wrong in all of that. Our eyes usually see the thing that we most believed and what to see. It is not wrong to see a different perspective. All of this, just a prove that world have their own eyes and the difference make us a world.

It is not fun if we only see the similar thing right? We need the differentiation to make the world become colorful and unique. That thing make us creative, unique, and then we can get a new experience.

So, what did you think about the dress? Is that a silver-gold or black-blue?

For me, that can be a both of them. I see a silver-gold at first then black-blue. The dress is a proof that a differentiation give us a new information and learning.

You will find this website amusing and interesting. Every pictures give me an inspiration and insight for what is the art.

For me, art is the idea that is unique. But unique its not enough. It must make people feel the attraction and interested.  It must be make people feel curious about it. Then, it must be give a new information and teach them about something.

Those qualities are art. Art is not easy to understand but it is not something too difficult either.

The simple way to make art is: PORTRAIT OURSELVES IN THAT ART

How?

Make something that come from our heart, head, and passion.

Find the true of yourself and make the art from that.

Song, story, drama, romance, picture, portrait, craft, food, cake, clothes, hairstyling, work, movie, film, cartoon, comic, and many more of the art.

Sometimes, it just need faith, belief, and trust to yourself. Then, you can make the art from your life.

Never say never because
